Terroir
The Laurent Habrard Estate works with 2,5 ha of the White “Crozes Hermitage” appellation. All of the plots are located in Gervans, near the cellar.
The soils here are mostly composed of Loess. A light yellow silt coming from the wind during the Ice Age of the quaternary. The thicknesses of this “white soil” or “dead soil” can change from some centimeters to several meters, depending on the plots.
The Vines
The vine plants are between 20 and 80 years of age and are maintained by wood plots or wires. Depending on the plots, the size can change, a size “ Gobelet” or size “ Guyot”.
The harvest are entirely made by hand.
Grape variety: Marsanne and Roussanne.
