The Terroir
2002 was the year Laurent Habrard decided to expand his product range by planting 6300 square meters of Syrah in the core of the Saint-Joseph apprellation, in the well-known terroir of the Côte “Sainte-Epine”.
A very nice granitic hillside, facing South, forms the unique and magnificent terroir of the estate.
The Vines
The vines find their strength in a magnificent steep hillside, sun bathed as soon as the sun shows up.
Maintained by stakes, the plot is exclusively worked manually. The rows are narrow and the crossfall too severe to work with engines.
The horse also plays a significant part in the soil cultivation.
